HCPS Code of Conduct Meeting
Henrico County Public Schools ("HCPS") is considering a new Code of Community Conduct ("Code") for the 2015-16 school year that would replace the current Code. The proposed Code outlines the roles and responsibilities of students, parents and guardians, and school employees in order to maintain a safe, supportive environment that encourages citizenship. Both the current and proposed Codes can be found on the HCPS website.
HCPS has scheduled a series of public meetings to receive feedback and new ideas on the proposed Code. Interested citizens should review a DRAFT of the proposed Code prior to attending.
For the Three Chopt District (our district), the meeting will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Pocahontas Middle School (12000 Three Chopt Road) from 6:30-8 p.m. Other meeting times and locations are listed on the HCPS website.
If you are unable to attend one of the public meetings or would like to provide feedback online, please complete the form on the HCPS website.
