CHECK-WRITING CAMPAIGN

Thank you for your contributions to our Check Writing Campaign. We are so lucky to have such generous parents like you.

We have 2 classroom winners for our 100% participation contest: Mrs. Smallwood and Mrs. Daniel’s classrooms have both won ice cream parties. Congratulations!

The classroom winners for our free cultural arts program "The Magic of Reading" were as follows: for kindergarten - Mrs. Brady, for first grade - Mrs. Harrell, for second grade - Mrs. DiFilippo, for third grade -  Mrs. Taylor, for fourth grade - Mrs. Maroney and for fifth grade - Mrs. Molloy. Congratulations! Your children will see this production shortly.

If you haven't made a donation, you may still do so at any time, despite our contest's completion.  Please download and fill out our online donation form and send it in to the PTA along with your check.

SILVER DINER EAT WELL, DO WELL

Please continue to use your Eat Well, Do Well Card you received from last year’s fundraiser at Silver Diner. We receive 5% of all purchases if your waiter scans in your card (linked to Shady Grove) while dining. If you preload your card with money, Shady Grove receives 10% of the total purchase.

SHADY GROVE SPIRIT NIGHTS

Shady Grove has several spirit nights each year at local stores and restaurants to benefit SGES. 

PAPA JOHN'S PIZZA NIGHTS

                     ****SUMMER OPPORTUNITY**** 
Papa John's is allowing our friends and family to use our spirit night code (SGES) over the entire summer. Each time our SGES code is used over the summer at www.papajohns.com, Papa Johns will donate 20% of the proceeds back to Shady Grove when we return in the fall. Please don't forget to enter in SGES over the summer as your spirit code so Shady Grove will benefit!

Barnes & Noble Spirit Night

A BIG thank you to all the teachers and families that came out and joined in on the festivities at our 4th Annual Shady Grove/Barnes & Noble Spirit Night.  It was a great to see all the teachers and kids in their pj's and the bedtime stories were fabulous!  We also had a wonderful performance by Mr. Brady's Syncopations. We hope you had a great time too! 
 Thank you again for your support and we look forward to having this event again next year.

California Pizza Spirit Night

Thanks to all of our teachers, staff and families for supporting our California Pizza Spirit Night. We raised over $500!  Mrs. Turner's class won a free pizza party by having the most number of student attendees from her classroom  at our function. Congratulations!

TARGET REDCARD

You can raise money for Shady Grove by shopping at Target!!
If you have a Target REDcard, all you need to do is enroll in their Take Charge of Education Program and designate Shady Grove Elementary School. Target will donate up to 1% of your REDcard purchases to our school while you receive 5% off each time you shop just for having the card! Enroll online at www.target.com/tcoe. Simply search for Shady Grove or enter our school ID 103962. You can also enroll by phone by calling 800-316-6142.

KROGER CARD

Shady Grove will be participating in the Kroger Plus Card for Education Program again this year. Registration is now OPEN. The program starts on September 10, 2012 and runs through March 29, 2013. This program provides educational awards to our school based on the credits earned every time you shop.  Please register by bringing in the Bar Code on your Fundraising sheet and having the cashier scan it along w/ your Kroger Plus Card. You only need to scan it one time, but you must re-scan each year. Friends and family can participate too.

MARTIN'S CARD

Last year our school raised almost $1400 just by parents and teachers like you shopping at Martin’s and using your Martin’s Bonus Card. Martin’s donates 1% of your total purchases to Shady Grove.

Martin’s program runs from October 7, 2012 to March 30, 2012. Click HERE to register your Martin’s Bonus card with our school code 03116 or click HERE for a printable form to send in with your child to register your card.

Registration is now OPEN. You must sign up each year for our school to get credit for this program. You can even split your points between two different schools if you choose. There are instructions on how to split points on the Martin’s website.
