The Mission of the PTA is "to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children." To help us accomplish this mission, we hope that every parent with a child at Shady Grove Elementary will join the PTA. It is through your memberships, volunteer hours, and overall participation in your student's education that we achieve success together.
The PTA's efforts are primarily funded through the Annual Giving Campaign, a direct donation fundraising campaign that allows families to make a once-a-year donation to the PTA. No selling wrapping paper, popcorn or magazines! There are several levels of membership to suit your preferences. Specifically, the Gold Donor and Cardinal Donor proceeds benefit all of our children and fund our programs and purchases for the year including Cultural Arts & Sciences performances, Reflections, teacher resource funds, technology additions and improvements, outdoor classroom supplies and materials, teacher/staff grant program, and other school resources.
