VOLUNTEERS
We are so lucky to have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities at Shady Grove that can easily meet the different schedule and time requirements of our families. Many of these opportunities are coordinated through the Shady Grove PTA.
Please note that anyone who wants to volunteer at school MUST complete the HCPS Volunteer/Mentor Application, which can be found on the Henrico County website HERE. Each volunteer MUST complete this form online every year prior to arriving at school for their volunteer shift. Please be sure to bring your ID to school with you and check in at the front office.
This school year, in addition to class-specific volunteer activities, parent volunteers will be able to volunteer for Office Helper. This is a terrific way to be present in the school and help the teachers and staff out with daily needs. Other volunteer opportunities will be sent out to families by email throughout the school year.
